You Need To See The New Halls That Are Opening Next Year

Looking for somewhere to live next year, but not sure about committing to a house? Two new student accommodations close to Solent will be opening next September.

We all know how stressful trying to find a house in Bedford Place is and we’ve all heard the horror stories. The landlord wants £1000 up front before you even see your keys and mould that should be paying rent it’s around so much. The Student Housing Company is now an alternative to this stress.

The new buildings Austen House and Crescent Place are an alternative to moving into a house or halls. They have luxury en-suite rooms and studio flats, with lower prices than some other private accommodations.

Prices for a Standard en-suite room starts from £110pw, bills included and you can finally have that double bed you’ve been missing for a year.

If you don’t quite want to say goodbye to the LFW vibe, then Crescent Place is probably the best one to look into. It has shared flats with 4, 5 or 6 bedrooms. This building isn’t too far from campus, so you’ll still be able to roll into lectures.

Austen House offers a wider range of living options. You can live with 4 or 5 people in a flat, share an apartment with one other person or live on your own in a studio apartment.

Both of these accommodations come with all of the benefits of halls, including internet, laundry services and security, but without the ugly curtains.

Prices range from £110pw up to £170pw. This can be a great alternative to living in a shared house as you get to live with your friends but don’t have to deal with landlords and mouldy walls.
