This Weekend’s Tremor. Club Night Will Be Held In Memory Of Chris Walsh

This Saturday night, Tremor.’s residency at The Drawing Board will be held in memory of Chris Walsh. Chris passed away on Tuesday 17th November and was a resident DJ at Tremor. and Drop.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

You can expect the usual Tremor. drinks deals and a combination of Bass, Garage, Grime and House music until 4am. But rather than paying a standard entry fee, you can instead make a donation to CALM on the door. All donations made at the event will go to the charity.

CALM is a registered charity, which exists to prevent male suicide in the UK. In 2014, male suicide accounted for 76% of all suicides and is the single biggest cause of death in men under 45 in the UK.

We spoke to Oscar Kane, who organised the event:

“Here at Tremor., like a lot of people, we were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Chris Walsh’s death. Chris was an energetic, fun and exciting person to be around (even when he shuffled). We are doing our next Tremor. event in memory of our good friend, and we ask that everybody come down to The Drawing Board (formerly Blue Fly) top floor on Saturday, November 28th to raise awareness for a subject which does not get the recognition it should, men’s mental health. Please come and show your support.”
