We’re Hiring Student Editors, Find Out More and Apply
The Daily Touch is one of the UK’s most-shared, youth-led news and entertainment websites – and our team is growing.
We’re looking for the next generation of online Editors.
Ever wanted to run your own magazine or edit a national newspaper? This is the opportunity for you.
In charge of your own university variation of The Daily Touch, you’ll be changing the face of student media on your campus.
We currently run at University of York, Southampton Solent, University of Reading, UEA and Bangor.
The goal is to create a lively and positive viral hub at every university in the UK.
And we need students to make that happen. That’s where you come in.
As the Editor, you’ll be breaking news, writing lists and editing content from other contributors.
You’ll be paid £400 a month during term time.
To apply, you’ll need to be a current student at a UK university.
You’ll be creative, decisive and full of original ideas.
A keen interest in writing and journalism goes without saying.
It’ll also help if you’re a fan of listicles and online quizzes.
But if you’re in tune with popular culture and naturally funny, you’ll do great.
Sound like you? Check out the full job description which has plenty more information.
It also features tips from a current Campus Editor, so pay attention to the videos if you plan to succeed.
So if you think you’d make a great editor, get your game face on and submit a killer application.
Remember, this is specifically a role for students, so we’re not expecting years and years of relevant experience on your CV. It’s the cover letter that really counts. Prove your dedication and convince us you’re the right candidate and we’ll be in touch.
