Amazon Sent Loads of Stuff To a Student By Accident And Let Him Keep It All
What do you want for Christmas? A TV, a Tablet or a pirate outfit?
What about all that and more? That’s what one engineering student, Robert Quinn, has received accidentally from Amazon due to a technical glitch. Over 51 items have so far been sent to him, including:
Samsung 55 inch TV worth £889
Galaxy Pro 12 inch Tablet worth £338
Baby buggy worth £150
Leaf blower worth £120
Single bed worth £50
Pirate dressing up kit worth £10
In total the goods are worth over £3,500.
And who wouldn’t want a free leaf blower?
Robert told the sun:
“At first I phoned up Amazon and they said that people must be ‘gifting’ them to me, but there’s no way that’s happening because I don’t know any of these people.
“I was worried that people were losing out on their stuff so I phoned Amazon again and said I’m happy to accept these gifts if they are footing the cost, but I’m not happy if these people are going to lose out. But Amazon said ‘it’s on us’.”
