15 Hidden Campus Gems Every UEA Student Should Make The Most Of
Hopefully everyone knows where the library and lecture theatres are by now. But how about exploring some of the lesser-known delights UEA has to offer?
1. The river by the UEA Broad.
2. The library study booths.
Is your house just too noisy? Are you easily distracted? Book one of these bad boys on Evision and worry no more.
3. And the bookable rooms.
Need a group revision sesh or a space for an event? These could be the answer to your prayers.
4. The Nap Nook.
It’s more popular than you might think!
5. Union House.
Upstairs in The Hive: your go-to point to talk to someone about anything Students’ Union related.
6. Scholars Bar.
A great place for a relaxed cuppa.
7. The showers on campus.
It’s got to be done once.
8. The piano in the Lawrence Stenhouse Building.
Tickle those ivories… outside of office hours, obviously.
9. The Sainsbury Centre.
Not a particularly hidden gem, but you’d be surprised by how many of your friends have never been.
10. The sculptures on campus.
Take the short walking trail and find all seven.
11. And that spiral staircase.
Well, it’s the closest thing we’re gonna get to a white-knuckle rollercoaster on campus for you thrill seekers.
12. Earlham Park.
Because UEA’s not just about the lake!
13. The SportsPark Café.
You can get free entry with your campus card if you fancy something different and want the chance to watch fit people getting fitter as you guzzle your beverage.
14. The view from the walkway behind Norfolk Terrace.
15. And finally, the view from the top of the hill.
It is also stunning. A trip up there will never fail to remind you just how wonderful UEA is 😍
