20 Things You Feel During Your Last Lecture of The Year

This is it. It’s a scary moment, walking out of the lecture theatre knowing it will be your last. You never have to go back into that room. Yet, it’s also exciting. The 3 years of hard work…You did it (if you ignore that you have a dissertation to write and exams to take).

Emotions run high… and low.

1. Dissatisfaction.

“The last lecture? Already?”

2. Sadness.

“End of an era. And that lecturer was really cute. WHAT IS LIFE?!”

3. Happiness.

“No more 9am lectures… no more lectures. YES.”

4. Horror.

“What will I fill my time with now?”

5. Denial.

“Nope, this is not the end… it can’t be”

6. Relief.

“I thought it would never end”

7. Excitement.

8. Dread.

“Wait. What does this mean for me now?”

9. Knowledgeable.

10. Exhaustion.

11. Confusion.

Mainly at how you can feel so confused yet knowledgeable at the same time.

12. Unimpressed.

13. Disengaged.

14. Hard done by.

“Where has the time gone!? I’m not ready!”

15. Chilled.

A huge weight has been lifted. It’s time to relax.

16. Lost.

17. Scared.

A life without structure or routine… what will you do!?

18. Accomplished.

19. Helplessness.

20. But mainly, you feel fulfilled.

You did it. You actually did it.
