If Covering Letters Are Your Worst Nightmare Then This Graduate Job Is The Answer To Your Prayers
When it comes to applying for graduate jobs, writing a Covering Letter can often seem like the worst part of the entire process. It should be simple – it’s just a letter, right? – but with so much resting on how well you come across within it, you quickly realise that it’s not going to be as easy as it seems. Among the many struggles you’re faced with when writing a Covering Letter, the biggest is often the most simple: not knowing how much to write. How are you supposed to know how much detail is too much detail?
If this sounds familiar, then we have good news for you. Moto are currently hiring for their Graduate Management Scheme, and they want you to submit a Covering Letter with a bit of a difference.
They want you to write a Covering Letter containing no more than 50 words. Fifty. That’s it.
As well as submitting a CV like normal, they would like you to prove why you’re the right graduate for their Graduate Management Scheme in just 50 words. That’s probably shorter than some of the essay titles you were set at university.
Just think, you wouldn’t need to worry about saying too much, and you definitely wouldn’t need to worry about saying too little! You’d just have to make sure every one of those 50 words made an impact. 😅
