How Would You Answer This Cruel Lecturer’s Question?
Students at the University of Maryland were faced with an exam question that was pure evil. Given the nature of the course, social psychology, it was designed by Dr. Dylan Selterman to test their morals.
The question was presented to the American students for the chance to gain extra credit without applying any effort- but there was a catch:
Selterman has been using the exercise since 2008, and told ABC.com that almost without fail, his students have felt safe in their anonymity and therefore have fallen short of the 10% band, with most of them opting for the more selfish 6 points.
What if your lecturer did this to you?
